Ars Medica is equipped with an intensive care and resuscitation unit featuring 2 beds, capable of handling any medical, cardiac, or surgical emergency. The medical intensive care team is always on call.
The inpatient ward offers an additional 7 beds, designed for sub-intensive care, enabling multiparametric monitoring and video surveillance of patients when post-operative recovery requires close observation.
During hospitalization, to ensure the protection of personal data, Ars Medica staff are not authorized to provide health updates over the phone.
Intensive Care: Predicting Risks and Preventing the Unexpected
The primary role of intensive care is to anticipate and prevent risks, whether during post-operative recovery following planned surgeries or in managing unforeseen critical events during diagnostic procedures or treatments.
Ars Medica’s Intensive Care Unit operates on a multidisciplinary approach, involving surgeons, anesthesiologists, cardiologists, 24-hour diagnostic services, and specialized nursing staff.
Intensive care is crucial for ensuring patient safety during medical and surgical procedures. The quality of Ars Medica’s Intensive Care Unit is based on the expertise of its medical and nursing team, as well as the advanced technology employed.
Our Goal: The Patient’s Well-being
The Intensive Care team is committed to creating a more humane environment. They provide extended and flexible visiting hours, maintain respect for the patient’s natural day-night rhythm, and ensure effective communication with both patients and their families.
