• Perform mucosal biopsies for histological examination or remove polyps (polypectomy).
• Conduct dilations of stenotic areas, place stents, or perform percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG).
• Carry out Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) to study the main bile duct and intrahepatic ducts, perform papillotomy if necessary, remove stones from the bile duct, and place biliary or pancreatic stents.

In addition to these diagnostic procedures, several non-invasive tests are also performed, such as the Breath Test, which can detect potential abnormalities in the gastrointestinal system (including Helicobacter pylori presence, malabsorption, bacterial contamination, and altered intestinal transit time), as well as urine tests for intestinal dysbiosis.
