Angiology

The Angiology Department at Ars Medica, located in the heart of North Rome, is a specialized unit dedicated to the study, diagnosis, and treatment of vascular system disorders, including those affecting arteries, veins, capillaries, and lymphatic vessels.

Our angiologists are highly trained physicians specializing in the evaluation and management of a wide range of vascular conditions, such as atherosclerosis, aneurysms, deep vein thrombosis, phlebitis, varicose veins, and many other disorders. Utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques, including Doppler ultrasound, angiography, CT scans, and MRI, they assess the condition of blood vessels, identifying any abnormalities.

Treatment of vascular diseases may involve pharmacological therapies, surgical interventions, endovascular procedures such as angioplasty and stenting, as well as minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins, including sclerotherapy or endovenous ablation.
